Municipal Art Society Fiorucci Fire & Water

 

Municipal Art Society
This is an umbrella that we conceptualized and designed for the Municipal Art Society, in cooperation with the MTA. Black on the outside, the umbrella opens up to reveal the famous constellation ceiling of Grand Central Terminal. The proceeds go to the MAS, wonderful organization, which is involved in preserving and enhancing the city. Available at Urban Center Books (212 935 3960).


 


These are invitations for Municipal Art Society events. The MAS is one of our favorite organizations in the city, dedicated to enhancing and preserving the city, and making it a more livable community.

The invitation on the left was for the first anniversary of the Urbanists, which is a division of the MAS. Printed with silver ink, it is a die-cut with images of the city on four flaps, which then fold out revealing the invitation.

Below is the invitation and program for the MAS 2001annual benefit, which was at Lever House. The invite was created with metallic gold ink (for the moon, the medal, and the type) on cobalt blue, and was also die-cut and folded out.


 

Fiorucci
This was an ad pitch for the comeback ad campaign for Fiorucci, which we were obsessed with in the '80's. The clothing and accessories company used to have a store in Manhattan, where you could easily bump into Andy Warhol and Debbie Harry (two of our idols!), on the same day.

Fire & Water
Postcards and ads for Fire & Water, a lighting and furniture company, which is also part of the Bergworks GBM studio. For so many reasons, we love designing for Fire & Water.
