Total
renovation of an industrial loft space into a private residence. With
windows at only the narrow front and back, a primary concern was bringing
light to the middle of the loft. Therefore, the loft is kept as one large
through space with only a "floating" closet separating the living from
sleeping area. Bathrooms, kitchen and utility room are kept behind a wall
running from front to back. Designed with Peter Coan. |
