This 1960's California ranch was extended and renovated to add an updated kitchen/family room, new bathrooms, home office, remodeled fireplaces and general renovations throughout. The original style of the house was kept but updated and improved. Sustainable aspects include bamboo and lyptus cabientry with non-formaldehyde interiors, cork and linoleum floors, recycled glass counters, recylcled glass tiles, natural clay finishes, energy efficient lighting, HEPA air filtration and dual flush toilets.

Ironically, a non-functioning existing solar hot water system had to be removed, but there are plans to replace it with photovoltaic panels.
